THE TWIN'S DAY
Changmin woke up with a start. He reached for his glasses and, putting them on, he stopped the ringing of the alarm clock.

It's 8:00AM.
"I thought I told Jeff-hyung to wake me up at 6," Changmin told to himself, yawning.
Changmin felt disturbed. He felt like he's forgetting something important.
"Hmmm, oh well. I'll probably remember it later.
When he got out of his room, he was surprised to see that his hyung is still at the house.
"Good morning," Jeff said.
Changmin replied, "Don't you have work today?"
"I took the day off. Anyway, let's eat our breakfast. I cooked these. Surprised?" Jeff smiled at his brother.
"Really, huh," Changmin felt lost. Breakfast is one of his responsibilities.
"You know how to bake?" Changmin asked.
"Learned just yesterday. Don't know if it went well, actually."
It's a chocolate cake - Changmin's favorite.
"What's going on?" Changmin asked, much to Jeff's amusement.
The chocolate cake was accompanied by two chocolate parfaits. Changmin sat down and gave a questioning look to his hyung. "Cake and parfait for breakfast? What the-"
"What, you don't like these?" Jeff asked.
As reply, Changmin ate one slice of the cake in one go. Jeff laughed.
When they finished, Jeff said, "Get dressed, we're going out."
"Where?" Changmin asked.
"Just get dressed, and bring your driver's licence. I'll wait for you outside.
Changmin can't stop wondering what's going on. After taking a bath and getting dressed, he went outside.
Changmin was met with a silver Corolla Avalon, his dream car.
His hyung is leaning on it.
A tiny box is in hyung's outstretched arm.
It didn't took a second for Changmin to make out the connection.
He couldn't believe it.
"Happy birthday to us!" Jeff shouted.

Ever since the twins lost their parents to an accident, Jeff had been acting as both parent and
brother for Changmin. He's the one responsible for the stability of the lives of both of them. They know no relatives. He works as an IT specialist - a very good job.
Changmin was born three minutes after Jeff. They're almost identical, except that Changmin's facial features were manlier than Jeff's.
The two are very close. You would never see them separated except when one's in the bathroom.
Changmin is an aspiring solo artist. Thing is, he realized this just yesterday One of his hobby is making his own renditions of several famous songs. He does it in a way that his renditions are so different from the original versions. He's a natural. A genius. His hyung also loves to sing, but he doesn't want a career with it. He's content with his job.
Changmin selected 5 songs that he already recorded ages ago and burned it in a compact disk. Yesterday evening, he sent the cd to a famous recording company. He is to wait for three days for results.
He put so much thought in it that he forgot it's his birthday - their birthday - the next day.

Changmin just can't believe his eyes. "How.. this is a thirty-thousand-dollar car!"
Jeff just smiled at his brother's amazement.
Changmin ran his hand on the car while walking around it. "Amazing," he can only say.
"Let's go. You drive, "Jeff said as he threw the tiny box in his hand towards Changmin.
Changmin catched it and hurried to the car.
And that's the most wonderful birthday ever for the brothers. Changmin couldn't argue about it. They drived through the city, drawing the looks of people to the sleek car.
