NCAA - Butler defeats Michigan State 52-50

Butler took down another of college basketball's biggest name, Michigan State, with a victory of 52-50 Saturday night for the first fight of the Final Four at the Lucas Oil Stadium.

How's that.

The Bulldogs, now boasting 25 consecutive wins, will take on whoever wins between the Duke Blue Devils and the West Virginia Mountaineers on Monday, April 5, at the same Lucas Oil Stadium.

And it's #20 Gordon Hayward who sealed the Bulldog's victory. He had 19 points and nine rebounds, including one that decided their victory. Much like he did a Kobe Bryant for his team.

At the end of the game, the players ran to the center circle on the court and jumped their happiness up and won. Butler students sang, "We're going to the ship." And fans roared to Hayward, who waved at them.

“This is what we’ve all played for,” Hayward said. “This is where we should be. This is where we want to be.”

One elimination down. And one to go. The Final Four is four no more.

Duke Blue Devils vs. West Virginia Mountaineers. Who is your bet?
